Amy Brown CFRE
With more than 20 years in the nonprofit sector, Amy brings passion and experience to her work with her clients. She offers significant expertise in leadership, fund development, campaigns, and project management.
A native Oregonian, Amy applies her extensive knowledge of the Oregon and Southwest Washington philanthropic landscape to her work heading up Collins’ expansion in this community-minded area of the Northwest. Prior to joining Collins, Amy worked as a fundraising and executive search consultant and served as the statewide Development and Marketing Director for Start Making A Reader Today (SMART).
Amy specializes in strategic thinking and positioning for her clients. Her key strengths include targeted and effective donor communications, strategic visioning, tailoring creative strategies for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects, and managing and reinvigorating successful capital campaigns. She has worked on campaigns with goals as large as $39 million, and she knows how to guide staff and volunteers through the process successfully.

In addition to Amy’s professional experience, she volunteers extensively in her community. Amy is a member and current Vice President for Professional Development of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter, a member and past President of Willamette Valley Development Officers, and a member of the Northwest Planned Giving Roundtable and Nonprofit Association of Oregon.
When Amy isn’t working, you can usually find her on a hiking trail, dance floor, or at a park playing with her nieces and nephews.
