Dermont brings 20-plus years of senior development and sales experience to Collins Group, a division of Campbell & Company. Prior to joining Collins, Dermont served as the National Director of the Middle Donor Team at World Vision for ten years. In this role, he was responsible for directing and managing a team focused on donors of $2,000-$25,000 that nearly tripled annual revenue over that decade.
Dermont is credited with creating World Vision’s first-ever moves management system used by middle and major gift officers. He witnessed first-hand the power of data and analytics to help his team determine where to invest their time and energy. Based on this program’s success, he was tapped to train and share best practices with World Vision fundraising teams in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom who were looking to implement similar programs.
In his professional life, Dermont is known for being client-focused, a great listener, and someone who develops solutions that matches his clients’ and donors’ needs. He defines his success by his ability to make a difference in other people’s lives. Recently, he played an integral role in helping to prepare his team at World Vision to participate in a soon-to-be-launched $1 billion campaign. Prior to World Vision, Dermont held executive-level sales positions with AT&T and NCR.
