Portrait of Kate Banta-Green

Kate Banta-Green CFRE

Having worked as a grants manager at a statewide foundation, an on-the-ground fundraiser at a community food bank, and now as a consultant, Kate has specific insight into the full circle of philanthropy; she brings this perspective to every client engagement with the goal of crossing those bridges to achieve fundraising success.

Kate brings her lifelong interest in public service to every organization she works with. She knows that helping her clients reach financial and organizational goals requires a comprehensive approach to fundraising, donor relations, and strategic planning. In her client work, Kate brainstorms the best development resources possible to move her clients forward; helps organizations build a focused environment internally and strong ties with donors externally; encourages board members to step into leadership roles and convert donors into board members, volunteers, and advocates; and explores every aspect of fundraising and donor relations, from personal interactions to grant management.

Prior to joining Collins Group, Kate worked as the Donor Development Manager for FamilyWorks Food Bank and Resource Center. Through the creation and implementation of donor plans, she double the organization’s annual giving as a one-woman team—during the Great Recession—and managed the social media, website, and volunteer program.
